Blender 4.2: Precise Modeling Workshop
Learning Resources →

Besides getting a real 3D object on the web, you can quickly jump from a simple 3D model to interactive presentations and step into Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality.

One of the critical components of this technology is the incredible Three.js framework, a foundation for a lot of 3D web-based content. For instance, if you decide to jump to WebVR, it will use Three.js as a base.

The process of working with architectural models in a web-based 3D environment might become more comfortable with a project from developer Antonio González Viegas. He is working in a parser called IFC.js that can convert IFC files to Three.js custom geometric entities for display in any browser.

That is an excellent help for artists working with BIM data in IFC format to display those models in a browser in 3D. As we mentioned, you can bake textures in Blender later and have a realistic model from a project in your browser!
