Blender 4.2: Precise Modeling Workshop
Learning Resources →

As you can imagine, after the announcement of Cycles X as part of the future of Blender, a lot of people are rushing to test it with several different projects, and architecture is one of the highlights. Yesterday I shared a detailed article with links explaining how to download and start testing Cycles X yourself, and some artists are already sharing some impressive demos.

Here is a quick video from a Twitter account called Cosmo Mídias.

They posted an interior rendering demo showing how responsive is the Viewport rendering of Cycles X.

From our tests with Cycles X, I can confirm that it is incredibly fast in the Viewport. If you have an NVIDIA RTX GPU, the performance of OptiX is impressive. Unfortunately, at this moment, there is no support for AMD cards.

Later today, I will share with Blender 3D Architect Pro subscribers a full tutorial on how to download and start using Cycles X. If you are a subscriber, keep an eye in your inbox for the download links.
