The amount of external renders available today for Blender is really great, and there are options for all types of artists with free and commercial options. One of these commercial options is Octane Render, which is a really nice renderer with nice support for GPU computing. Here is an example of visualization created with Octane Render and all modeled with Blender called “Alpha Rest Room”. The creator of this image is enricoceric that posts from time to time some amazing images related to architectural visualization at the Blenderartists user forums. At the link you will find some details about the render and different views for this room.
