Blender 4.2: Precise Modeling Workshop
Learning Resources →

Having an architectural model with furniture models and all textures ready is essential to making marketing images for projects. Still, in some cases, it might not be enough. One thing that you learn with time is that people are terrible at perceiving dimensions based on objects. At some point, you need a human scale at the scene to help with that spatial perception.

A way to do that is with scanned 3D models of people or 2D cutout images for a simpler approach.

The guys from Humano3D are offering a free resource that can help you with visualization projects in Blender and many other tools. There you can download a model from a high-quality female model in different contexts. With the model, you can add a realistic reference scale for interior visualization projects.

That particular model has textures in 6K resolution, which will look great regardless of your camera’s distance.

Do the model works with Blender? They have an option available to download the model as an OBJ or FBX file with all textures. Here is one of the files in Blender:

The model uses Eevee for rendering.

To get the models, you must provide an e-mail address to view the download link. Other than that, it is a direct link to download.

Using Blender for architecture

Do you want to use Blender for architecture or render your projects using Cycles or Eevee? We have three books available that could help you!

They cover the use of Blender for producing architectural content and also all information you need to render projects in real-time:

You can get them in both digital and paperback formats. By ordering those books, you will not only improve your skills with Blender for architecture but also support Blender 3D Architect.
