Blender 4.2: Precise Modeling Workshop
Learning Resources →

The use of real-time renders for architectural visualization is a strong trend in the market, and you will see a lot of projects using that technology. A couple of years ago, it would be difficult to get artists engaged in that type of visualization due to hardware and software limitations.

Nowadays, it is easier than ever to work with real-time visualization. It could be with Eevee or a dedicated game engine. A popular choice for architecture is the Unreal Engine.

A limitation of those dedicated engines is that you cant create 3D models with them. That is when Blender steps in as the 3D modeler of choice for most of the projects.

Some artists have an impressive portfolio using Blender for modeling and the Unreal Engine to create images. Like Tomasz Muszyński that usually appears here in Blender 3D Architect with some remarkable projects using the two softwares.

If you want to take a look at another one using both Blender and the Unreal Engine, here is another residential interior.

The project is not new and was on our list for publishing for quite some time.

You will find an extensive list of images that uses the powerful Lightmass from the Unreal Engine to create stunning lighting for interiors.

If you want to check the latest information regarding modeling for architecture using Blender, I recommend you to check our Blender 2.8 for architecture book.
