Blender 4.2: Precise Modeling Workshop
Learning Resources →

One of the best resources to obtain textures and assets in Blender's native file format is Poly Haven. It offers textures, HDR maps, and 3D models. While it doesn't have a focus on architectural assets, you can find many interesting models to use in projects.

To showcase the utility of these assets, Poly Haven initiated a community project named Hidden Alley. This project utilizes resources created by Poly Haven users to compose a realistic scene.

The result is impressive, and you can view some of the renders and perspectives of the project in their official post.

As a bonus, you can download the entire scene in Blender's native file format. For those still learning how to use Blender, this is an invaluable resource. You can not only acquire the assets but also examine the settings used for rendering and lighting the scene.

The best part about using these assets? Everything available from Poly Haven is in the public domain. You can use them for any purpose without worrying about licensing the material. This includes the Hidden Alley project and all assets available on their site.

How to Learn Blender?

Not mentioned earlier, but all scenes and assets from the project are created using Blender. If you are still learning Blender, at Blender 3D Architect, we have compiled a beginner's guide to Blender, ideal for first-time users.

The beginner's guide is available in both digital and paperback formats:

As you can see from the two options in the list, we also offer a version of the guide in Spanish. If you purchase a copy, please leave a review or rating. It helps a lot and supports our work here at Blender 3D Architect.
