When you start searching for assets to build your library or include some furniture models in a project, you will eventually find some old furniture designs. In some cases, the designs will go back to the beginning of the last century.
An example of this is the LC2 Armchair that is an absolute classic of design. It dates back from 1928 and still is an incredible, and expansive, piece of furniture.
Do you want to download a free model of the LC2 Armchair for Blender? An artist called Amir Esmaeilzadeh posted a model for the LC2 Armchair on his Behance page.
The artist didn't use Blender for the modeling but shared the chair as an FBX file. Since Blender can import FBX files without significant problems, you can get that furniture model for Blender. It even includes some leather textures.
Unfortunately, we don't have any information regarding the licensing of the model.
Those of you with a formal education in architecture or design will probably be familiar with the LC2 and the author behind its unique shape. The chair is one of many furniture designs from Le Corbusier, which one of the most influent architects in recent history.
You can now use one of his designs for your interior visualization projects in Blender.
