Blender 4.2: Precise Modeling Workshop
Learning Resources →

The work of an architectural visualization artist is not limited to create 3d models, and rendering images to show how projects in development will look like. One of the fields that have a lot of work for people specialized on architectural visualization is the game industry. There are a lot of projects looking for people to create scenarios and props for games. I myself have worked for two local game projects, creating sets for games.

So, it won`t be unusual to find some tutorials related to games that can useful to learn architectural modeling. Just like this one that was posted a few days ago on the Blenderartists forums, where a user called GameDesignGuru shows how to create a staircase using Blender 2.5. The tutorial is aimed to game design, but we can learn architectural modeling as well.

The video below is the first part of the six part series. The only downside of those tutorials is that all videos were produced without any kind of narration. We only have the images. To see the other videos, visit this thread at the Blenderartists forums.
