Blender 4.2: Precise Modeling Workshop
Learning Resources →

A resource that you will have to always collect for your daily work with architectural visualization is textures and PBR materials. Regardless of the software version, you use that is an asset that plays a major role in any visualization.

If you want to download a pack of free PBR materials for Blender that will help in several architectural visualization projects, check this resource from digital artist Julio Sillet. It is a pack with 12 PBR textures containing mostly fabrics and carpets.

Besides being free to download you will find that Julio Sillet provides a Blender 2.8 file with the materials.

How to get the materials? Visit this link and open the Gumroad page where the artist offers all textures. There you will have to start a download by using the “fair price” model from Gumroad. To get it free you must set the price as zero. However, if you plan to use the resources in commercial projects it would be nice to reward the author.

At the Gumroad page, you will get a plain text file that has a URL to the Google Drive folder where the artist keeps the textures. You can download the Blender 2.8 file or get each texture as individual JPEG files.

Do you want to get some additional textures from the artist? Don't forget to also visit our article with 36 free PBR materials for architecture.
