The use of glass in architecture is a well-known way to give an aspect of modernism and sophistication to any project, but it has to be used wisely to make a visual statement. When you deal with architectural visualization the setup of glass is also important, because it can make your render to take much more time to finish and on the other hand transform simple scenes into something much more appealing.

Here is an example of glass applied to a project rendered with Blender and called Sauna House by an artist called elieli and posted at the Blenderartists forums.

frosted-glass

Notice the large panels of frosted glass by the showers. Was it Cycles? Unfortunately the author dind`t mention the renderer. But, it is a nice example of architectural visualization made with Blender. More images available at the forum threat.
