Blender 5: Precise Modeling
Learning Resources →

You probably have already seen at the Blender interface something related to a word called “Path Tracing”. What is it exactly? This is the main algorithm used by Cycles to compute light on your architectural visualization projects, and not only by Cycles! A lot of renderers use Path Tracing as their main render method.
Do you know how it works? If you ever got yourself wondering how it works, I found an interesting instructional video coming from an unexpected source: Disney. Yes, they did a really nice video explaining how Path Tracing works.

Will this change your work? Probably not, but its good to know how things work under the hood on Cycles.
