From your experience with Blender Cycles rendering, do you think 1000 samples are enough for a high quality and noise free architectural render? I would say that this amount of samples wont be enough, but an artist called lucblend shows at the Blenderartists forums that I`m wrong. In a project called Musicians lounge room he shows us some impressive renders using only 1000 samples on Cycles. At the forum thread you will find some other images from the project, besides the one that illustrates this article.
And to help us understand how he manage to setup some of the materials on the scene, lucblend shares his settings for the floor and walls materials at the Blender node editor.
