The use of art books in architecture is a really common way to get inspiration or fresh ideas for a project, and there are literally thousands of art books dedicated only for architecture. I do own a lot of art books for both architecture and digital design that I use for inspiration and with decorative purposes. From all these books available I didn`t had anyone dedicated only for digital art created with Blender. If you feel the same way, then you will enjoy the latest project from the guys of CG Cookie!
It is an art book called “Art of Blender – Volume I” and this is a Blender only art book! The project was developed and organized with selected scenes and images created with Blender, and from what I could see so far, there are some of the best digital art works made with Blender I`ve seen lately.
The book is not published yet, and is in fact only available as a pre-order at the Blender e-shop. If you get the book at the Blender e-shop, you will help financing future projects of the Blender Foundation. The release date is estimated to be sometime in November 2013.
I have to make room on my shelves for a new art book!
