Blender 4.2: Precise Modeling Workshop
Learning Resources →

A really common type of material used on furniture is leather, and a quick overview of some classic furniture like the Eames chair, Barcelona chair and others will show us how important a realistic leather material could be for architectural visualization. Do you know how to setup good-looking leather material in Blender? What about Cycles? If you haven’t tried to setup this type of material in Cycles yet, there is a really nice free Leather material for Blender Cycles available for download at Blend Swap.

With this leather material you will be able to create much better visualization with classical furniture, and any other surface using leather. In this thread at the Blenderartists forums, you will also find more information about the node setup for this material.
